Application
Combined gravity and magnetic datasets provide a rapid means of basin targeting and mapping.
This is an ideal first stage in frontier environments where the results can be used to provide depth to basement models, plan and economise follow-on seismic surveys.

Depth to Basement Modelling
Using a series of forward models generated interactively based on density contrast parameters provided, NRG are able to create a seed model which can then be inverted using UBC software to create 3D basin models. Results can be integrated with automated magnetic modelling such as Automag solutions which provide an independent depth estimate.
