November 2005: Wild Dog Helicopters purchases the first dedicated survey aircraft - Eurocopter ASTAR350 B1 ZS-RZW.

January 2006: Wild Dog Helicopters purchases a second dedicated survey aircraft - Eurocopter ASTAR350-B2 ZS-RSS.

April 2006: NRG launches the second XPlorer system.

May 2006: NRG completes the 1st 100,000 lkm of high resolution gradient magnetic and radiometric data. The surveys were undertaken in 8 countries in southern, Central and West Africa.

September 2006: NRG launches the third XPlorer system which completes a survey in New Zealand using Heliworks as an operator.

November 2006: NRG launches the third XPlorer system on dedicated survey aircraft ZS-RZM.

February 2007: NRG joint ventures with Geotech Airborne to offer airborne gravity on a fixed-wing platform using the GT-1A gravimeter.
- February 2007: NRG starts commercial airborne gravity survey on a fixed-wing platform (C208) using the GT-1A gravimeter.
- July 2007: NRG purchases a Pilatus “Porter” PC6 aircraft which presents an ideal slow stable platform for airborne gravity.
- July 2007: NRG completes 500,000 lkm of XPlorer gradient magnetic and radiometric data in 21 countries.
- August 2007: NRG purchases a GT-1A gravimeter.
- April 2008: NRG purchases 3 Eurocopter ASTAR 350 helicopters to serve as dedicated Xplorer platforms
